Our Immunity Blend Dual extraction tincture is a blend of Turkey Tail, Reishi, Maitake and Lion’s Mane Mushrooms. All of which are hand harvested when in season from woods within a 25-mile radius of my home atop of Caddel Mountain in Wild Wonderful West Virginia. We first do an alcohol extraction with locally foraged mushrooms in 200 proof organic alcohol for 8 weeks. The resulting liquid is called a menstruum. Then with separate fresh locally foraged mushrooms do a water extraction or decoction with local spring water from Caddel Mountain. Lastly, we combine the alcohol extraction with the water extraction with a final product that has about a 30% ABV making it shelf stable.
